Mérieux NutriSciences strengthens its service offering with the acquisition of Israeli company Sher Consulting and Training

Chicago, IL, November 2, 2021 – Mérieux NutriSciences, a global player in food safety, quality and sustainability today announced the full acquisition of Sher Consulting and Training, the market leader in premium quality, product safety, compliance, sustainability and environmental consulting services to support the Food and Feed Industry as well as a wide variety of other companies and organizations  in Israel. 

Founded in 2003 with offices in central Israel, Sher Consulting and Training and its 45 consultants provide a comprehensive spectrum of solutions mainly to serve a wide range of food processors, retailers, importers and exporters. This includes product labeling, regulatory compliance, quality and food safety consulting, risk management, inspections and audits, provision of learning solutions, environmental and safety compliance audits, life-cycle assessment, and more. 

This acquisition strategically strengthens and complements Mérieux NutriSciences’ services in Israel, where the company already has Milouda & Migal laboratories and testing services located in Acre, Kiryat Shmona and Bar Lev Industrial Park.
